With Samsung’s new range of A-series devices going on sale in the UK from today, Ernest Doku, Uswitch mobiles comments:
“Unlike Apple, which has replaced its budget SE range with the more expensive iPhone 16e, Samsung continues to expand its affordable lineup.
“These refreshed A-series models offer premium features at a great price and are currently one of the cheapest ways to get AI in a new phone in the current market, including smart photo editing and circle to search. The A-series also pack in powerful specs like super AMOLED displays and improvements to all-important battery life.
“Starting at just £299, the A26, A36 (£399), and A56 (£499) provide a stylish and cost-effective alternative to flagship models, with a choice of sleek colours and upgraded cameras for capturing high-quality photos.
“Our data shows that, for many consumers, the key areas they want a smartphone to perform in are battery life and camera performance[1] - two areas in which all these devices offer great value for money.
“If you’re looking to buy a new handset and keep the cost down, the Samsung A-series offers excellent value, with six years of Android and security updates included."
