"OnePlus announced the launch of four devices at its summer event, including a new smartphone, tablet and two wearables.
“Today’s launches reflect the growing importance for tech companies to be delivering more affordable devices without compromising on the key features consumers have come to expect.
“The Nord 4 boasts a premium metal design, incredible battery life and a pledge of six years of smooth performance and software support at a price of just £429, showing the Chinese manufacturer's laser focus on high grade smartphones.
“The OnePlus Pad 2 delivers productivity in an upgraded tablet sequel without breaking the bank. Incentives for both the stylus and keyboard add-on keep costs low, but with the device still packing the latest Snapdragon processor.
“OnePlus announced the launch of two affordable wearables in the Nord Buds 3 Pro and Watch 2R, both bringing flagship-tier features like noise cancellation and new, more durable materials but at more accessible price points.
“Naturally, as it's 2024, OnePlus has no shortage of claims around how AI functionality will transform your life. But ultimately, it's OnePlus' ability to deliver high end specs at a fraction of the price which makes them popular globally, and allows for the potential to be a real challenger in the UK."
